About us

Apex Molecular is a chemistry SME providing specialist services for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology (life sciences) and applied chemical sectors. The company was founded in Leeds in 2011, moving to improved facilities at Alderley Park in 2015.

We provide fast, reliable, cost effective delivery of laboratory scale chemistry development services for the life sciences and wider chemical sectors.

As projects progress along the development pipeline the quantities of material required for testing can change quickly. Often the initial synthesis of the target of interest was only executed on small milligrams scale and rapid scale up is required to deliver multigram quantities for further testing. A selection of DNA damaging HPAPI toxins and intermediates are available to purchase directly from Apex Molecular. These compounds are synthesised in our laboratories.

Custom Metabolites & Labelled Compound Synthesis
Once the metabolic fate of your hit compound or API is known, detailed studies may be required and thus these compounds need to be synthesised. We can meet the challenge posed by these compounds and perform custom synthesis projects using our highly specialised equipment and expertise.
A wide range of chemistry expertise within our staff gives us direct experience with isotopically labelled compounds.
